Byte/word converter
A 32-bit value takes two registers, and tools pack the bytes their own way, so the same number looks different in different tools. Enter a value and the converter shows the register pair for every word order: ABCD, CDAB, BADC, DCBA. Enter two registers to see the value they decode to. The server converts with the same codec as slaves 2..9 (docs/HRIR_SPEC.md).

Config generator
Builds a ready config for your tool so you do not have to type it in. Pick the tool, slave, area and address - the output has the server address, function, data format and the right register addresses (straight from docs/HRIR_SPEC.md, no conversion). Works for Modbus Poll, QModMaster, CAS Modbus Scanner, pyModbus and Node-RED. The Count field counts values, not registers: a 32-bit slave value takes two registers.
Snapshot diff
Compares two state snapshots and shows only the differences: what changed, what appeared and what is gone. Use it to check that your write applied or that values returned to the original after a test. Take a snapshot with the button below; saved snapshot files compare against each other. A dash in a cell means the snapshot has no such value.

The server is free and stays that way. We are raising money for a test bench with real instruments to run every ModbusToolkit build against.
